Rowan, Happy B-day!

When Ro was born, I though this was great I love having a baby in November! The distraction and excitement of the holidays helped me cruise through the difficult first six weeks. Now with two of her birthdays under the belt..I'm starting to rethink that.Thanksgiving and Christmas Iam all in prep mode and the first week of November just seems to want to blow right by. or Hmm.. maybe its the second child thing but we just didn't go all out.We tried the simple approach: I got some frosted sugar cookies ( Ro's not to hot on cake)Take'n' Bake pizzas some plates and napkins and pink tablecloth. i got a little bathub toy , invite the Grandparents and call it good. It was two hours until party time and Aly wants to see the Birthday Cake...I explained to her Ro does'nt like cake and therefore we are doing cookies instead. Aly freaked out "My baby sister needs a Birthday Cake!!!" followed by big sobs. So what did I do I whipped up a Birthday Cake. Did Rowan eat it? No, she ate the frosted cookie, but she did like putting her fingers in the frosting. Here's to you lil Rowan! We Love Ya no matter how inconvient you birthday is or wether you like cake or not. Your Fiesty personality compells us all to laugh and smile at your unweildy determination!
